HOW IT WORKS
We strive to make your dress rental process seamless, easy, and fun. Below, we’ve provided the step-by-step process of renting a garment. These terms are intended to provide a summary of process and do not replace the terms and conditions in the rental agreement.
THE RENTAL PROCESS:
- Add the garment of choice to your cart. Be sure to use our sizing guide to ensure you’ve selected your accurate size. Typically, but not always, our garments run true to size.
- Choose your event date.
- Carefully review the terms and conditions of the agreement and sign the agreement.
- Purchase your garment. Please note your purchase price will include the rental price, a security deposit, and sales tax.
- You’ll receive your garment two weeks before your event. Unless unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Try it on!
- Fits? Great… enjoy being a showstopper at your event!
- Doesn’t fit? No worries we have a process for that.
GARMENT DOESN’T FIT?
Simply put the garment back into the bag labeled “Return Garment Bag” and take the envelope labeled “Return Label” to a UPS location near you. BE SURE TO ONLY USE THE RETURN GARMENT BAG WHEN RETURNING ITEMS OR EXCHANGING ITEMS. We, at Dime Boutique, pay UPS to package your return. You must take the garment and the shipping label that we provide to a UPS location. There, UPS will package the item and confirm your return. Once we receive your garment in its original condition, we will begin processing your return.
STEAMING & IRONING GARMENTS:
- Can I iron or steam the garments?
Yes, you can only steam the garments, if necessary, but please never iron our garments.
If you do need to steam the garments, be sure to carefully follow fabric care labels for proper steaming procedure. To avoid damage, fabrics with embellishments and prints must be steamed from the inside. Be sure to always keep a few inches of distance between the steamer and the fabric and don't steam in one place for more than a minute as doing so can cause damage to the fabric. You will be responsible for damages to garments when improperly steaming them.
- What fabrics should not be steamed?
Garment and fabrics that include waxed jackets, suede, or materials that may melt, such as plastic should never be steamed or ironed. If you’re unsure if a fabric can be steamed or how to steam a fabric, please contact us @ info@dimebridalboutique.com.
RETURNING GARMENTS:
The event is over! Great. You now must return your rental garments. You will have four (4) days after your event to return the garments. After the four (4) days have passed, there is a late fee of $25.00 per day that a garment is not returned. After being late for five (5) days, you will be charged 50% of the retail price of the garment. If the garment is not returned within (10) ten days after the event date, you will be charged 75% of the retail price. After fourteen (14) days the garment will be considered unreturned, and you will be responsible for 100% of the retail price of the garment.
We received your garment! Thank you for returning it! Once we’ve confirmed that your garment is in its original condition, we will return your security deposit. Security deposit refunds typically take three (3) to five (5) business days after garments are received, but security deposit refunds may take longer in certain circumstances.
Dime Bridal Boutique reserve the right to determine whether a garment exceeds the wear and tear allowance. Fees will be assessed and charged to the credit card you used to place your order. [We only accept debit or credit cards from these providers: Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover]

- You have 48 hours after the approval email to return the garments you don’t like—take them to a UPS location for processing.
- Remember that we do not provide a refund for a garment that is delivered but that you have not worn.
- Any garment returned to us on the agreed-upon date will be considered worn.
